Original 18th- to 19th-century, hand-colored Curtis botanical prints are bits of botanic history. Curtis prints, from the longest-running botanical magazine, Curtis’s Botanicals (which began in 1787 and is still printed today), are among the least expensive antique botanicals. The 5.5-inch by 9.25-inch prints originally came in folders of four or more to introduce exotic plants to Great Britain.
