LAUNDRY HAMPER
The Basics: Two framed window screens become an airy hamper thanks to crafty thinking.

How To: First, cut two framed window screens into four pieces the same size (they don’t have to match perfectly). Fashion the four pieces into a box with wood glue and screws. Then, glue and screw the box to three 26 boards that, when glued and screwed together, create a base. Even out the top with scrap wood. (If two of your sides are shorter, like on Sue and Ki’s hamper, you get built-in handles—a happy junk accident!) New casters on the bottom make it movable.

Materials Needed:
1. Two framed window screens (about 45x30 inches)
2. Three 26 wood boards
3. Screws
4. Wood glue
