Make it
An old mantel clock case, long separated from its inner workings, looked to Matthew like a memory box waiting to happen. His box measures 23x17x5 1/2 inches. First paint the case. Then cover the back with nostalgic paper (we used scrapbook paper, but wallpaper also works) using doublestick tape or Mod Podge.

Matthew’s Secrets
This memory box is a tribute to favorite moments in the kitchen. He made color copies of family recipes and taped them to the back. Little cake tins were hung with small nails and, like the other items in this 3-D still life, can be traded out for other items as the display evolves.
