PLANT STUDY
Arching fern fronds give a buttoned-up secretary fresh whimsy. Look for a similar desk at flea markets or thrift stores, then refresh it with a latex paint base coat. Apply large stencils across the front, letting the stems bleed off the edge. Daub the stencils with several shades of green crafts paint to create interesting highlights.
